Where those driving directions really come from

Mapquest said it would take 41 minutes for me to drive from Columbus Circle in Manhattan to Far Rockaway in Queens. Google Maps estimated the trip at 39 minutes. Navteq supplies the raw map data that underlies those directions. That data isn’t as raw as you might think, though.

Housing Update

For those of you that don’t visit the Flickr Page we now have Stucco on our house..all the windows and doors are up as well….

As for the house we sold….the guy across the street is at it again….this time he bought a motorcycle…doing donuts in the road all day and night…..getting into altercations with the other neighbors…glad its not us anymore…ahh

Digg says: Excellent easy tool to use. If you have Flickr account this tool is a must. Point this tool at a flickr tag or set of tags and it will change your background periodically. You can filter by user or just use all user tags.

This is probably the coolest tool I’ve found in the last couple years aside from Flickr.
